Reduced environmental impact
When insurance companies use Autonet, it improves the whole process for managing vehicle claims. It saves time for insurance engineers and claims managers, workshops get a better workflow, dismantlers can sell more used parts, and towing services can pick up cars quicker and more easily. And not least: the customers are more satisfied and CO2 emissions are reduced.
Lower claim cost
By up to 15%
The cost reduction is primarily linked to our optimised workshop allocation. Cases are allocated to workshops that:
- use cost-effective repair methods
- extensively incorporate used parts in repairs
- have capacity to take the car immediately
In practice, this means that you get a higher return on the work your insurance engineers put into educating workshops on using more cost-effective repair methods.
The process is also quicker with digital assessment of the damages via our app. Administration and communication is also managed digitally, which reduces lead time and manual involvement.

Better communication leads to
More satisfied customers & workshops

Throughout the process, the customer receives updates via text and doesn’t need to wonder what the status is or how long the repair will take.
The workshops, in turn, will have a better workflow when they’re using Autonet’s system. They don’t need to waste time on inspecting damages in-person; instead they receive high-quality images with easily accessible used parts. Contacting the customer is easy via the system and they can spend more time repairing cars instead of on administration.
Lower CO2 emissions &
Reduce environmental impact
By using Autonet’s system you lower your CO2 emissions. The customer is guided through a digital assessment instead of driving their car to a workshop to assess the damage.
We also optimise the workshop allocation based on what methods the workshop uses for repairs. Workshops that repair more parts rather than buying new ones are prioritised.
With AutoReuse you also reduce your environmental impact, since the workshops can more easily find and order used parts via our system.

How we help different departments
Management
Autonet creates a more efficient claims process that saves time, money and the environment. We provide access to extensive data on workshops allocation, repairs, used parts, and sustainability, which can be used to evaluate performance and to develop relationships with partners.
Claims managers
Autonet reduces the manual interactions necessary in claims. With our automatic claims management, your customers can create their own case, receive updates via text, and the claims are processed 2-3 weeks faster. This reduces the administrative workload and the amount of customer calls.
Insurance engineers
The day-to-day work of insurance engineers is facilitated when repairs are conducted by your most reliable partner workshops. They spend less time requesting amendments to cost estimates, and more cases can be approved automatically.
Actuaries
We can help you reduce the amount of reserves you need to set aside by providing more accurate cost estimates.
When a claim is submitted through our app, we generate an estimated repair cost based on the car, the car’s market value, and the extent of the damage. The estimated cost is based on previous cases at that insurance company. With a portfolio of cases, we can provide an estimate that’s within ±5% of the actual cost of repair, which means you can reduce how much money you have in reserve.
Autonets system also shortens the process by 2-4 weeks, meaning claims are closed faster, which contributes to reducing the reserves needed.
Sustainability officers
Using Autonet delivers a concrete, measurable reduction in CO2 emissions as we can allocate claims to more sustainable workshops, reduce the number of trips to the workshops with digital assessments, and increase reuse of used parts.
We create an annual sustainability report with data on how much CO2 emissions that each of our clients have saved, which you can use for your annual report and sustainability reports.

“More time to focus on our clients”
We’ve been partners with Autonet for just over three years now and it’s a partnership that I value greatly, in part because we can develop the service together. It gives us, our workshops, and our customers access to one of the most modern tools on the market.
The most important benefit from our perspective is that when technology/AI supports logistics and administrative tasks and provides an upgraded process for us and the workshops, it frees up time for our claims managers to focus on our clients and provide the best advice and service to them. It gives us more room to focus on our customer service, on being dependable and that extra human touch that no algorithm in the world can replace. It also gives our customers a better customer journey and shorter lead times.

Frequently asked questions
How does the system allocate each claim to a workshop?
The parameters that you set are the basis of our decisions. For our current customers we allocate cases based on the workshops’ repair costs, repair methods, lead times, any special skills, and reuse of used parts. We can adapt the parameters of the allocation based on your preferences.
If we have specific agreements with workshops, can the system handle that?
Yes, we can adjust the workshop allocation to allocate relevant cases to the workshops that you have agreements with.
Do you use your own AI model?
Yes, we’ve trained our own AI model on a database with photos of vehicle damages. The model is updated continuously as more claims are processed, making the system and the AI model increasingly precise.
How long does it take to learn how to use Autonet?
Autonet is not a system that claims managers or insurance engineers need to actively work in. Rather, it’s an infrastructure that makes your existing processes more efficient. Therefore, your staff won’t need to learn anything new, but will instead have an easier day-to-day with fewer customer calls and less corrections to request from the workshops.
How do the workshops start using Autonet’s system?
Autonet will contact all the partner workshops that you want to be available to receive claims via our system. We will explain how the process works, and will be available to them in case they have questions or want to suggest improvements to the system. The only thing you need to do is send us a list of the workshops that should be on the system.
Do workshops want to assess damages digitally using photos?
These digital assessments give workshops more agency over how they arrange their workday, and they save time when they don’t need the customer to visit the workshop. The workshops we’ve worked with have expressed that Autonet is the best system to receive high-quality images from customers which they can use to evaluate the damage.
