‘A match made in heaven’: AI, data and infrastructure meet
The collaboration between Autonet and Autocirc is ‘a match made in heaven’ for making the process of ordering and incorporating used parts easier for workshops.
Autonet uses AI to identify which parts need to be replaced, and we also have access to extensive vehicle data, including historical article numbers.
Autocirc has the infrastructure required to find and distribute parts, so we can search the entire market for parts and find more options.
Together we make it easier for workshops to find and order used parts for their repairs by showing relevant parts in each case.

Many workshops have the ambition to use reused car parts. So we see enormous value in connecting our strengths — Autonet has the technology to identify the right parts, and we have the ecosystem to deliver them. Together we can drastically increase the use of used parts, and thereby reduce the emissions caused by new parts. An important contribution to create a more circular automotive industry.

Sustainability at the forefront: Now we’re realising the potential
In an earlier version of AutoReuse, Autonet showed used parts available via Bildelsbasen. That alone increased the number of cases where used parts were identified, but it was an extra step for workshops to order the parts. Through the partnership with Autocirc, workshops can now also order the parts straight away, so AutoReuse’s potential can finally be realised.

Our customer, LF Västernorrland, reports that they previously found the right used parts in only 15–20% of cases. With AutoReuse we’ve shown that it’s possible to reach up to 80%, thanks to our AI telling them what needs to be replaced, searching the entire market and identifying parts using both current and historical article numbers. Through the partnership with Autocirc we can realise much of that potential — we get access to more and better parts, and make the entire process significantly easier. Together we facilitate for our customers to at least double the use of used parts.

A partnership developed together with our customers
From Autonet’s side, the collaboration with LF Västernorrland and LF Västerbotten was an important piece that made the integration with Autocirc possible. They wanted to increase the use of used parts and reduce environmental impact, and saw AutoReuse as an opportunity to work towards that.

We saw a lot of potential in Autonet automatically identifying which used parts were available — that alone made a significant difference and increased our use of used parts. We wanted to take it a step further and make things even easier for workshops by integrating ordering and delivery.
Lennart Törnkvist, Head of Claims, LF Västernorrland
Autonet has enabled an improved process for using used parts. There’s a holistic perspective in the process, from access to more vehicle data (especially historical article numbers) to Autocirc as a partner, who has reinvented used-parts search and gives us the ability to double the use of used parts.
Björn Gullehag, Head of Vehicle Claims, LF Västerbotten

The goal: double the use of used parts and contribute to a circular economy
With this update to AutoBeg, we look forward to continuing to work towards our goal of doubling the use of used parts and making the most of the world’s resources!
